StatementMost of my sculptures are relief works made from natural and human-made materials. I collect these materials from beaches near my home and choose ones that have been tossed by the ocean and/or dried naturally on the beach. I give them a new life in whimsical works of art: a mussel shell becomes a 'whale', kelp buds become 'balloons'.
