The silent stillness of this reflective pool was an extreme contrast to the nearby Selfoss and the mighty Dettifoss, (the most powerful waterfall in Europe) in Jokulsargljufur Canyon, Iceland. It was only a few metres away from the dramatic power and almost deafening sound of the waterfalls.
